How schools fund it
Most schools pay for a programme from budgets and subsidies they already have. I work with a proposal tailored to your school and think along on the financing — from a three-week pilot to the full ten-lesson training.
Gezonde School — support grant
The Gezonde School support offer provides €3,000 per school location for the Wellbeing theme, open to secondary schools and mbo. A mindfulness programme fits this theme directly. Applied for in the yearly stimuleringsregeling window.
Municipal subsidies
Many municipalities (including Amsterdam) fund education, youth and prevention. The scheme for cooperation between education, prevention and youth care can apply when the school works with a care partner.
Your own school budgets
Workload funds (werkdrukmiddelen) fit the teacher and team workshop especially well; the social-safety budget and passend-onderwijs / samenwerkingsverband funds can also apply.
VAT-exempt
Education given by a qualified teacher is generally exempt from VAT, so there is no 21% on top — and since schools can't reclaim VAT, that's a real saving. [Christa: confirm your BTW status.]
